Danja Tekic

Introducing Danja

Danja is a visual artist specialising in printmaking and drawing. She usually works on rice, cotton or handmade paper. In her works, she strives to create and analyse abstract art images by combining and transforming visual elements expressed by previously mathematically defined areas.

She was born in 1989 and lives and works in Belgrade where she finished her printmaking studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts.

What we love about Danja

Danja’s limited print editions explore the simplicity in surfaces, color, texture, and materials. The lithographs in this collection are muted tones of blues, greens, grays and purples with pure edges. Printed from stone onto cotton, Danja’s masterful four and five-color lithographs compelled us to take a closer look. We invite you to do the same…
