Daria Dobrolinski

Introducing Daria

Daria Dobrolinski, born in Poland, grew up in Hamburg from 13 years of age. She studied communication design at the Technical Art School in Hamburg and was a long-time student of the painter Karin Witte. She studied MAS Designculture at ZHdK in Zürich. Since 2012, she has been working as a freelance designer and artist in Heidelberg/Germany.

What we love about Daria

Daria takes multi-media and handwork to new depths of connectivity. Using thread, photo transparencies and textile, Daria connects these fragments to repair abstract memories. The way she skillfully uses her thread like a draftsman uses a pencil line births something new from small souvenirs of the past. Her delicate work entitled “She” makes you wonder just who “she” is.
