This artwork is from a series named Experimental View. What is really interesting for me is the possibility to manipulate a form and alter it in multiple ways. In this sense, I am always trying to work from a point where the things still haven´t acquired their direction. Work is then fulfilled by intervened forms and elements that are placed in relation to the order of things which keeps them at their limits – unbalanced forms, on the verge of movement, and giving them the possibility to stop being something, to become something else.
In most of the works I represent subjective, emotional and rational expression. The composition of it has abstract gestures, shapes and undefined meanings so it provides opportunities to the viewer to create his/her own vision and perception of it. I used acrylic paints for the monohom surface which I scratched with crayons in different colors and texture.
