While working, I frequently use photographs as the reminders of the situations or events that have passed. By creating such pictures, I simultaneously create the relation between their incidences, the meanings they carry both historically and personally, or sentimentally, because they are made of the fragments of my own life. Yet, while transferring the photographs’ contents, I am never either narrative or literal, thus achieving the effect that each participant may identify himself with the basic and crucial emotion each print brings forth.
The photograph of my sister is used as a reference in making this print. Her face is deliberately left “unfinished”, because my intention was to represent only the atmosphere that was present at that time.
